Position Summary

The Senior Network Analyst is responsible for the development and implementation of Enterprise network solutions for Bulletproof’s clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain SMB and Enterprise network solutions.
• Escalations and Support internal, data center, and customer network systems.
• Support Bulletproof’s TOC environment and systems and provide best practice procedures for monitoring our clients.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff of Bulletproof clients, resolving issues and escalating problems as needed and implementation of new clients.
• Provide network capacity and availability analysis.
• Liaison with Enterprise TOC customers on projects and support tickets as required.
• Manage and update support tickets as required for the infrastructure team.
• Produce required documentation for customers’ infrastructure and correct / update existing documentation as required.
• Maintain accurate time tracking to facilitate billing on a weekly basis.
• Mentor Junior resources as required.
• On call rotation as required.
• Other duties as required.

Required Education / Credentials / Qualifications

• A university degree, college certificate or diploma in information technology and / or have relevant experience and industry certification.
• Solid working knowledge of networking theory, including LAN, WAN, SAN and Wireless technologies including Fortinet and Cisco.
• Minimum 7-10 years of networking experience.
• Professional level experience working with advanced routing and switching technologies including Layer-2 technologies such as VLAN, QoS, IGMP, Multicast, MPLS, hierarchical network architectures.
• Experience supporting Enterprise and Public Cloud hosted network environments.
• Experience management and monitoring platforms.
• Experience and / or certification in networking technologies, including Cisco and Fortinet.
• Professional level experience working with layer-3 technologies such as EIGRP, BGP, IPv4, IPv6, Software Defined Networking, VPN technologies and Microsoft Azure Networking.
• Experience with server virtualization and network virtualization and public cloud such as Azure.
• Experience with supporting Voice over IP (VOIP) technologies.
• Experience with NextGen firewalls and / or IPS / IDS is an asset.
• Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyser is an asset.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes is an asset.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while handling multiple tasks and changing priorities
