Position Title: Senior Network Analyst
Work Location: Edmonton, AB
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 1 Year

Scope

The resources will plan, implement, and support the Cisco Secure Workload solution (CSW). CSW is vital in a Zero Trust Network project, ensuring workload security through micro segmentation and policy enforcement across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Duties
  • Plan, implement, and support Cisco Secure Workload infrastructure.
  • Manage and modernize network infrastructure, including proactive monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure high availability of IT network infrastructure and services, adhering to the Alberta government’s SLAs.
  • Implement, upgrade, troubleshoot network software and hardware.
  • Manage workload and promote teamwork through cross-training and workload sharing.
  • Lead or participate in networking projects, documenting best practices.
  • Contribute to cross-functional IT projects with networking expertise.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues.
  • Plan for software and hardware upgrades or migrations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures.
  • Provide cross-training and knowledge transfer to team members.
