Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Developer to join our Bentley Infrastructure Cloud product development team. You will work on building our next-generation products and user experiences, contributing to the digital transformation of infrastructure assets, and supporting Bentley’s mission of providing innovative software and services for design, build, and operation of global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and Product Managers on design, implementation, testing, and support of product features, core components, or Microsoft Azure-based Cloud services.
• Participate in defining features and designing services and products for stability, usability, and maintainability.
• Translate designs into software products and services using the latest development tools.
• Maintain existing codebase and assist support teams.
• Perform unit testing to ensure quality and adherence to use cases.
• Follow DevOps practices, from design to delivery.
• Develop and utilize automated CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and coding patterns.
• Adhere to secure development practices.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
• Collaborate with other teams on service consumption and integration.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Experience

• Experience with C++
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with C#/.NET
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure deployment and cloud services
• At least 3 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in writing clear, maintainable, efficient, and secure code
• Experience with .NET Core, testing frameworks, data structures, and OOP
• Understanding of coding strategies and their long-term impacts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills

• Experience with SQL Server & Azure SQL databases
• Experience with Apache Solr or Elasticsearch
• Experience with Azure DevOps
