Cognizant’s Application Delivery practice in Canada is seeking a Lead .NET Developer (Onsite) to design, develop, and maintain high-performing, scalable enterprise applications. You will work with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software and ensure quality through clean architecture and SOLID principles.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on C#/.NET experience, REST APIs, middleware integration, and a strong sense of accountability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development experience.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and middleware integrations.
• Strong knowledge of clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using C#/.NET.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with secure auth and versioning.
• Develop middleware to connect internal services with external systems.
• Implement reliable integrations with monitoring, logging, and retries.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and perform code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver features.
• Produce technical documentation for APIs and integrations.
