Job summary

HHHub.eu, a FinTech software provider with over 25 years of experience, seeks a Senior .NET Engineer – Banking & Payments to design and develop backend systems for core banking, account management, and payment processing.

You will contribute across the software lifecycle, mentor peers, and participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows, applying OWASP principles to build secure, scalable financial software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, .NET Core and backend development.
• Experience with high-availability, transaction-processing, or mission-critical systems.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs and backend services.
• Practical experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance.
• Professional English for collaboration with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and platform components using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Translate business, product, and integration requirements into technical designs.
• Develop and maintain APIs, transactional services, and system integrations used in banking and payment processes.
• Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability of critical systems.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
• Protect data accuracy and integrity across platform components.
• Produce technical specifications, API documentation, and unit testing materials.
• Apply secure software development principles, including OWASP practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, estimation, and planning.
• Mentor developers and raise engineering standards.
