Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal seeks a senior software engineer to lead secure .NET Core development and to design scalable applications meeting functional and non-functional requirements.

You will analyze, implement, and document architecture and evolve solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in YAML with Azure DevOps, ensuring code quality, test automation, and applying SOLID principles.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience, mainly in .NET Core.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in .NET Core, C#, SQL, GraphQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines in YAML with Azure DevOps.
• Develop robust automated tests using xUnit or PACT.
• Enforce modern authentication (OpenID Connect and OAuth).
• Apply SOLID principles and OO design; knowledge of TDD and pair programming.
• Fluent in French and English for daily tasks and international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the secure software development lifecycle, from analysis to production deployment
• Design and develop scalable application solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Document the architecture, functional and technical design as well as the evolutions made to the solutions
• Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment mechanisms in Azure DevOps
• Deploy and support applications in the various environments until they are put into production
• Maintain and evolve existing applications, including technical support, incident resolution, and code restructuring
• Collaborate with agile team members and share software engineering best practices
• Contribute to code quality, test automation, and continuous improvement of development practices
