Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal seeks a senior software engineer to lead secure .NET Core development and to design scalable applications meeting functional and non-functional requirements.

You will analyze, implement, and document architecture and evolve solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in YAML with Azure DevOps, ensuring code quality, test automation, and applying SOLID principles.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience, mainly in .NET Core.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in .NET Core, C#, SQL, GraphQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines in YAML with Azure DevOps.
• Develop robust automated tests using xUnit or PACT.
• Enforce modern authentication (OpenID Connect and OAuth).
• Apply SOLID principles and OO design; knowledge of TDD and pair programming.
• Fluent in French and English for daily tasks and international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the secure software development lifecycle, from analysis to production deployment

Profile sought

• Have seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in software engineering, primarily in .NET Core development

• Design continuous integration and deployment pipelines in YAML with Azure DevOps
• Develop robust automated assays using xUnit, PACT or equivalent tools

• Use software engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair programming, simple design, and the Fake First approach
• Understand object-oriented programming and apply SOLID principles
