Job summary

NGE Sports is seeking a Senior .NET Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET technologies. You will implement RESTful APIs, work with EF for data modeling, and build event-driven systems with RabbitMQ in a hybrid-remote environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong Clean Architecture and SOLID experience, proficiency in SQL Server, and hands-on testing and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development using .NET / .NET Core.
• Solid experience with Entity Framework (EF).
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and RabbitMQ or similar.
• Hands‑on experience applying Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Strong grasp of software architecture concepts (layered, DDD).
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Moq).
• Familiarity with distributed caching systems such as Redis or NCache.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong skills in SQL Server development and optimization.
• Experience with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and C#.
• Apply Clean Architecture to ensure maintainable, scalable codebases.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs.
• Work with EF for data persistence and complex data modeling.
• Design and build event-driven systems using RabbitMQ.
• Apply architecture principles to guide system design and service interactions.
• Write unit tests and contribute to test automation.
• Integrate and manage distributed caching mechanisms (Redis, NCache) to improve performance.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and work with SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA).
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring junior developers.
