Cynet Systems invites a Senior C# Backend Developer to Montreal, QC, on a contract basis. The role centers on backend/server-side development and standalone desktop applications, leveraging multithreading, data structures, and algorithms to boost performance.

The ideal candidate brings expert C# and Visual Studio skills, plus strong SQL Server experience and familiarity with gRPC, NHibernate, WinForms, WCF, REST API, and Swagger. TDD/BDD experience and mentoring others are valued traits.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in C# development.
• Expert-level skill in Visual Studio environment.
• Strong understanding of .NET API internal mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust code design and application optimization.
• Identify, detect, and refactor underperforming code to improve application efficiency.
• Apply TDD and BDD methodologies to both new and existing codebases.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and mentor other team members.
