The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and client engagement to ensure successful naval IT and communications initiatives. Ideal candidates will have post-secondary PM education, experience directing complex programs, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in PM, Business, Engineering, IT or related field.
• Experience coordinating or managing complex projects or programs.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, processes and best practices.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, resources and controls.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and dependencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for exec status reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage program activities, schedules, resources and deliverables.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members on projects.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, reports and briefs.
• Engage clients and stakeholders to align requirements and expectations.
• Maintain a strong safety and confidentiality mindset in all work.
