Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. seeks a Senior Municipal Engineer to lead municipal and utility infrastructure designs across Western Canada. You will oversee projects from concept to construction, act as Engineer of Record, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with municipal clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a P.Eng. in Alberta, 15+ years in municipal infrastructure, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in municipal and utility infrastructure design.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta municipal design standards, construction specifications, and approving agencies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Additional information

Expected compensation for this role is between $117,200 - $161,200 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
