RBC is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer to design, develop and maintain API-based integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems. You will play a key role in enabling seamless data flow across our technology landscape and supporting our digital transformation initiatives.

You will lead Java development, REST API management, CI/CD in OpenShift, and mentor teams to deliver high-quality, secure integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years MuleSoft development experience.
• 5+ years Java programming experience.
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and API management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Artifactory, MUnit testing, and code scanning tools.
• Salesforce integration experience.
• Database design and SQL knowledge.
• Python scripting capabilities.
• MuleSoft and Oracle/Java certification (nice-to-have).
• Experience with microservices architecture (nice-to-have).
• Spring Framework expertise (nice-to-have).
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployments on OpenShift.

• Design and optimize database architecture; tune SQL for performance.

We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain API-based integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems. You will play a key role in enabling seamless data flow across our technology landscape and supporting our digital transformation initiatives.

What will you do?

• Java Development & Microservices – Develop and maintain Java applications and microservices; build custom connectors and extensions; implement object-oriented design patterns and best practices; optimize performance and memory management
• CI/CD & DevOps – Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementation and optimization; manage deployments on OpenShift; configure artifact repository management (Artifactory); automate build and deployment processes
• Code Quality & Testing – Conduct code reviews; implement MUnit testing frameworks; establish quality standards; ensure security scanning and compliance across Java and MuleSoft applications
• API & Integration Management – Manage API lifecycle and governance through API management platforms; troubleshoot complex integration and Java-related issues; optimize data mappings and transformations
• Database & Performance Optimization – Design and manage database architecture for integration solutions; optimize SQL queries; manage data performance and system efficiency
• Automation & Support – Develop Python scripts for automation and integration support tasks; manage data transformations and integrations across systems
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring – Mentor development teams on Java and integration best practices; foster code quality culture; promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• 5+ years of MuleSoft development experience
• 5+ years of Java programming and development experience
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks and libraries
• Proficiency with REST APIs and API management
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and OpenShift
• Knowledge of Artifactory, MUnit testing, and code scanning tools
• Salesforce integration experience
• Database design and SQL knowledge
• Python scripting capabilities

Nice-to-have:

• MuleSoft and Oracle/Java certification
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Spring Framework expertise
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
