Job summary

Manulife Integration Engineering team is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable integration platforms connecting enterprise apps, Salesforce, cloud services, and partners.

You will leverage MuleSoft, Azure, and modern engineering practices to shape architecture, drive automation, and deliver cloud-native solutions. Opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related discipline, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years software engineering experience, including enterprise integration.
• 4+ years MuleSoft development, CloudHub 1.0/2.0.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Java; event-driven, microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of API security, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build and support cloud-native integration services on Azure (AKS, Functions, Data Factory, Key Vault).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance and observability.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
