Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies in Canada is seeking a Product Manager to help lead the Rivian mobile app experience. You will partner with our product lead for mobile, own initiatives across the app from strategy to delivery, and ensure the app remains one coherent product rather than a collection of features.

The role requires 5+ years of product management, direct experience shipping mobile apps on iOS or Android, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of product management experience shipping consumer products at scale, including mobile apps on iOS or Android.
End-to-end ownership from strategy through delivery, in partnership with design and engineering.
Strong analytical fluency: defining metrics, working with data, and adjusting course based on evidence.
Experience using AI tools in the product craft.
Ability to synthesize user insights, constraints, and goals into actionable product decisions.
Clear, concise product writing and exceptional communication across teams and priorities.

Responsibilities

Core App Initiatives: take features from strategy through delivery across home and vehicle status, remote commands, onboarding and account setup, notifications and alerts.
Own App Coherence: maintain information architecture, navigation model, and interaction patterns across domains to keep one cohesive product.
Raise Quality and Performance: improve app launch time, command latency, reliability, crash-free rate, and wake behavior.
Deliver Across Mobile and Vehicle: own end-to-end features from phone to vehicle and back, align with in-vehicle counterparts where applicable.
Build on the Mobile Platform: work within our mobile platform architecture and release model with platform, cloud, and domain leads on dependencies.
Ship End to End: take features from ideation to release with crisp requirements and daily collaboration with design and engineering.
Prioritize on Evidence: use owner feedback, app analytics, and quality data to inform decisions and define success metrics.
Align Across Organizations: coordinate with vehicle software, cloud services, identity, charging, and service teams to deliver coherent experiences.
