eBay is hiring for an AI/ML focused role within the Depop team to shape the future of its global marketplace. You will work with large-scale data and productionize state-of-the-art AI/ML models, partnering with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver measurable business impact.

This position emphasizes building scalable data pipelines, deploying models in production, and advancing ML infrastructure while leveraging GenAI, RAG, and prompt engineering techniques across a distributed system.

Qualifikationen

• MS in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or BS with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience building large-scale distributed applications in Java/Scala/Python.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience building and supporting scalable data and ML pipelines.
• Cloud platform experience and familiarity with ML infrastructure.
• Experience with Spark or Hadoop is a plus; ML model productionization is a plus.

• Influence how AI and ML shape Depop’s global marketplace and customer experience.
• Work with large, diverse datasets representing millions of users and items.
• Develop and deploy state-of-the-art AI/ML models into production with measurable impact.
• Build and scale large data pipelines and distributed systems for production ML.
