Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mine Geologist to join our client’s operations in East London, Eastern Cape. The role focuses on estimating mineral resources, supporting mine planning, and delivering data-driven resource evaluation.

You will manage geological data, build 3D models, perform resource estimations to JORC/NI 43-101 standards, and collaborate with mine engineers and metallurgists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology or a related geoscience field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mine geology and resource estimation.
• Proficiency with geological modeling software (Leapfrog, Micromine, Vulcan).
• Strong understanding of geostatistics, ore deposit types, and geological interpretation.
• Experience with exploration techniques and data acquisition.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
