Job summary

Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Mine Engineer. You will report to the Chief Mine Engineer, coordinating mine engineering services and leading budgeting and long-term planning. The role requires a P.Eng in Ontario with 10+ years in mine design and operations.

Expect leadership of up to seven technical staff, with responsibility for a mine budget of CAD 5–25 million. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Professional engineer registered in the Province of Ontario.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mine engineering and mine design.
• Experience in mine operations and management of projects preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to supervise multiple technical staff.

• Coordinate and deliver a significant portion of mine engineering services.
• Lead annual site budgeting and long-term business planning.
• Ensure engineering standards comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
