Veriday Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer / Technical Architect to join our client team in Toronto for a 6-month contract with extension potential.

The role blends hands-on development with solution architecture and technical leadership to build secure, scalable CRM solutions. You will design, develop, integrate, and enhance Dynamics CRM solutions, translating business requirements into robust applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of Dynamics CRM solutions, including architecture, data models, integrations, security, and deployment approaches.
• Assess requirements and perform fit-gap analysis to determine standard vs custom development.
• Evaluate CRM applications and recommend improvements for performance and maintainability.
• Prepare solution designs, architecture diagrams, and implementation estimates.
• Configure and customize Dynamics CRM/365 CE including entities, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, and business rules.
• Develop custom plug-ins, workflows, client scripts, and integrations using C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Microsoft APIs.
• Build and enhance model-driven Power Apps and Power Automate flows for business processes.
• Implement CRM functionality for customer and stakeholder records, case tracking, approvals, and notifications.
• Develop maintainable solutions using proper extension methods and platform capabilities.
• Design integrations between Dynamics CRM and enterprise apps using REST, Dataverse Web API, and Azure services.
• Support data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality improvements.
• Manage solution packaging, version control, environments, and deployments across dev, test, prod.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and artifact lifecycle management with Azure DevOps.
• Perform unit and integration testing; resolve defects and troubleshoot performance issues.

The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions, translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable applications.

What you will do:

• Lead the technical design of Dynamics CRM solutions, including application architecture, data models, integrations, security, and deployment approaches.

• Support data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality improvements.

• Manage solution packaging, version control, environment configuration, and deployments across development, testing, and production.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
• Perform unit testing, support integration testing and user acceptance testing, and resolve defects.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.

What do you need to succeed:

• 10 years of software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement experience.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a technical lead or solution architect while remaining actively involved in development.
• Strong expertise in Dynamics CRM configuration, customization, extensibility, and enterprise implementation.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dynamics SDK, Dataverse Web API, and FetchXML.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations and working with relevant Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus.
• Strong understanding of CRM data modeling, security, performance optimization, and solution management.
• Experience with source control, automated deployments, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or comparable tools.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical designs and deliver solutions through the full development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to attend the client’s Toronto office 3 days per week.
