Job summary

Techso in Montreal is seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure Developer to contribute to large-scale projects and act as a technical reference for Azure solutions. You will design, develop, deploy, and support backend, serverless, and event-driven systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will lead backend development with .NET/C#, leverage Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services, and guide teams through complex technical decisions in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ten years of software development experience or more; senior-level track record.
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Strong backend development with .NET and C#.
• Proficient with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, code management, and deployment automation.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, high availability, and scalability.
• Experience designing serverless solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across teams.
• Fluent in French and English for collaboration with diverse colleagues and clients.

In this role, you will act as a technical reference for Azure solutions. You will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of backend, serverless, and event-driven solutions while working closely with development teams and project stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:

• Act as a technical expert for Microsoft Azure cloud solutions;
• Support development teams in designing and evolving cloud-based applications;

• Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

The Profile We’re Looking For

You have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• A minimum of ten years of software development experience;
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem;
• Strong backend development experience with .NET and C#;
• Excellent knowledge of Azure services, including Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault;
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and deployment automation;
• A strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, high availability, and scalability;
• Experience designing serverless solutions and enterprise integrations;
• Experience working in an Agile environment;
• The ability to act as a technical leader and mentor other team members;
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills;
• The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with French- and English-speaking colleagues and clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience withDynamics 365;
• Experience with Azure API Management;
• Advanced knowledge of event-driven architectures;
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and cloud security;
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring, logging, and observability tools;
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service;
• A Microsoft Azure certification;
• Consulting experience or experience working across multiple client environments.
