Torex Gold Resources Inc is seeking a Senior Metallurgist to provide hands-on operational metallurgy and process engineering support at the Morelos Complex. You will turn complex plant data into meaningful insights, validate metallurgical performance, and drive improvements to recovery, efficiency, and costs.
The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong flotation and leaching knowledge, Spanish and English fluency, and willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Reporting to the Director, Metallurgy & Process, the Senior Metallurgist will provide hands-on operational metallurgy and process engineering support, with an initial focus on the Morelos Complex. You will turn complex plant data into meaningful insights, validate metallurgical performance, and support practical improvements that strengthen recovery, efficiency, and cost performance. Working closely with site Metallurgy, Plant Operations, Geology, Geometallurgy, and Technical Services teams, you will bring the detailed analysis and follow-through needed to solve complex processing challenges.

The posted salary range represents our target pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on the comprehensive review of the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and external benchmark data for comparable roles.
