Job summary

Torex Gold Resources Inc in Canada is seeking a Project Engineer to support mining project studies across the growing portfolio. Initial focus will be the Los Reyes Project in Sinaloa, Mexico, with broader support to the Morelos Complex as needed.

You will liaise with external consultants, review multidisciplinary work, and help ensure technical deliverables meet Torex standards. You will work with internal specialists, participate in consultant meetings, and may take on mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, process engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer designation in Canada or eligible to obtain an equivalent designation.
• Fluency in English.
• Spanish language skills are considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver multidisciplinary mining studies.
• Serve as the technical lead for assigned study work and ensure deliverables meet Torex’s standards.
• Support mine design and review work related to mining, processing, geotechnical, infrastructure, ventilation, dewatering, and water systems.
• Review information from multiple disciplines to identify inconsistencies or design concerns.
• Complete technical evaluations, scenario analysis, forecasting, and executive-level presentations as required.
• Monitor study progress and raise concerns that could affect timelines.
