Job summary

Worley seeks a Senior Metallurgical Engineer to lead metallurgy, corrosion and materials assurance for Canada West projects. Based in Calgary or Edmonton, you’ll guide design standards, mentor engineers, participate in technical governance, and support large capital programs across energy transition and conventional energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Extensive metallurgy and materials engineering experience.
• Strong corrosion management knowledge across mining/oil & gas contexts.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead metallurgy and materials design across major projects.
• Set standards, specs, and technical frameworks.
• Provide technical assurance and peer reviews for complex decisions.
• Mentor engineers and build capability within the team.
• Support site visits, field problem resolution, and safety compliance.
