Senior Medicare Medicaid Biller Collector

Responsibilities:

• Manage billing and collections for Medicare-Medicaid, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Maintain deficiency lists for missing documents, resolve claim rejections, and package claims, including global billing with attachments.
• Proactively follow up with payers and other entities to secure payments, overseeing accounts from billing through closure.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of hospital managed care or commercial collection experience.
• Two years of recent hospital Medicare billing experience in an automated environment.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of contract interpretation, hospital billing requirements, and Medicaid billing guidelines.
• Experience with various payer types including commercial, governmental, Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO, with the ability to cross over between payers.

The estimated compensation range for this role is $21.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
