Job summary

X-Group is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to design and integrate complex power generation systems, including engines, turbines, and packaging. You will lead cross-disciplinary work across mechanical, electrical, and controls teams, ensuring robust, manufacturable solutions and compliance with industry standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in FAT and field support, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in power generation, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial systems.
• Experience reviewing drawings, calculations, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of power generation systems including engines and turbines.
• Oversee full packaging design including skids, enclosures, piping, and balance-of-plant components.
• Develop models, BOMs, specifications, and calculations to support fabrication.
