Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration is required.
• 10+ years of mechanical system design, analysis and project execution experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP; knowledge of codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute mechanical engineering projects including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial systems.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and project documentation.
• Conduct design and performance analysis using engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and regulators.
• Mentor junior/intermediate staff and support professional development.
• Support budgeting, scheduling and resource planning within projects.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes and municipal requirements.
• Contribute to proposals and business development with technical input.
