TBT Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead and contribute to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection projects across commercial and institutional settings. The role requires strong technical leadership, mentoring capabilities, and adherence to professional standards.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review drawings and specs, and engage with clients to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery. A P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical system design, analysis, and project execution.
• Proficiency with design and modeling software including AutoCAD and Revit MEP; knowledge of codes and standards.

Position Description

Lead and contribute to a wide range of Mechanical Engineering projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. Apply advanced technical knowledge in the planning, design, and delivery of HVAC and Plumbing solutions for commercial and institutional settings. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight while supporting the development of junior staff and ensuring projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering, supported by a degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution and registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical system design, analysis, and project execution. Candidates should possess proficiency with design and modeling software including AutoCAD and Revit MEP, as well as a thorough understanding of applicable codes, standards, and industry practices. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential, with proven experience mentoring technical staff and managing multidisciplinary projects.

This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications ($125,840.00 per year +).
