Your Role Includes

• Reviewing and stamping mechanical projects of various complexities and sizes
• Directing design strategies and concepts on complex projects
• Leading audits, feasibility assessments, investigations, and preparing reports
• Conducting site visits, troubleshooting construction issues, and collaborating on solutions
• Mentoring intermediate and junior engineers and designers
• Supporting the development of mechanical design standards and practices

What You Will Bring to the Team

• Design experience with central plant systems, including hot water, steam, and chilled water systems
• Significant exposure to DDC control systems, including writing sequences of operations, specifications, and troubleshooting control issues on-site
• Extensive knowledge of codes and standards such as OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE
• Design experience across multiple industries including commercial, industrial, educational, multi-unit residential, healthcare, and government
• Excellent communication skills, organization, multitasking, and ability to meet deadlines
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share ideas, sound judgment, and decision-making skills
• Professional engineering license in Ontario with at least 5 years of Canadian experience
