Senior Mechanical Engineer – Multi-Unit Residential

Location: London, Kingston, or Kitchener, ON

Permanent, Full-time

Our client designs mechanical and electrical systems that make buildings work. We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in building services, especially in multi-unit residential projects. In this role, you’ll lead designs, mentor junior staff, solve construction issues, and work closely with clients and other professionals.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and review mechanical designs and stamp drawings
• Guide design strategy and provide technical expertise
• Conduct site visits, audits, and troubleshooting
• Mentor junior team members
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines

What You Bring:

• P.Eng. in Ontario with 10+ years in mechanical design, including 5+ in Canada
• Deep experience with residential systems and building codes (OBC, ASHRAE, CSA)
• Knowledge of central plant and DDC control systems
• Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills
