  • Collaborate closely with project and construction managers to resolve technical issues and support safe, efficient field execution.
  • Manage assigned project scope, schedule, budget, risks, changes, and client communications.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and external consultants.
  • Provide technical guidance, quality oversight, and mentorship to engineering team members.
  • Participate in site visits, design reviews, constructability assessments, and client meetings.

  • P.Eng. registration with APEGA, or eligibility to obtain Alberta registration through interprovincial transfer.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant engineering experience, primarily supporting industrial clients.
  • Experience delivering mechanical engineering work in an EPC, consulting, fabrication, or industrial construction environment.
  • Working knowledge of applicable engineering codes, standards, quality requirements, and document-control processes.
  • Experience coordinating engineering deliverables and supporting construction or field execution.
  • Strong project management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with clients, field personnel, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to industrial project sites, including locations in Northern Alberta.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with applicable NFPA standards and Canadian fire protection codes and requirements.
  • PMP designation or formal project management training.
  • Experience working directly with fabrication shops and construction teams.
  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Performance bonus of up to 10%, tied to company financial performance.
  • Dental, vision, and extended health benefits.
  • RRSP matching program.
  • Relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
