Position Overview: Senior Mechanical Engineer

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for mechanical design work for mobile equipment including structural, fluid power, and powertrain systems. Your duties will include component selection, CAD design, analysis (including FEA), detailed BOM creation, and developing Operator and User Manuals. You will collaborate with other engineers, manufacturing, and project managers to ensure projects are completed On Time, On Budget, Done Right, and Done Safely.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and verify engineering that meets performance and safety requirements.
2. Partner with leadership to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate project teams, provide work instructions, and maintain project timelines.
4. Overall project responsibility including verifying design performance, managing contracts, and understanding customer expectations.
5. Develop and update project timelines and design concepts for review.
6. Perform engineering calculations and provide technical data to stakeholders.
7. Oversee or perform FEA analysis to verify structural integrity and generate reports.
8. Prepare project review documentation and present to clients.
9. Specify and source components and materials for designs.
10. Review CAD models and drawings for completeness, accuracy, and manufacturability.
11. Generate and review Bills of Materials and track action items.

Candidate Profile:

• Leadership skills and ability to guide engineers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact with management, manufacturing, sales, clients, and quality teams.
• BSc or MSc in engineering disciplines (agriculture, mechanical, electrical, aerospace).
• 8+ years of project experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
