We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our Mechanical Engineering team at Raytheon ELCAN. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and developing optomechanical systems. Education and Technical Requirements :

• Must have a post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 4+ year of mechanical design experience, preferably in product design
• P.Eng or working towards P.Eng preferred
• Background in physics, or experience in the field of optics is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop a design from a set of written specifications
• Ability to use CAD software to design and develop products. Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Knowledge of FEA concepts and how to apply them using FEA software. FEMAP and NX Nastran preferred.
• Experience in completing independent research and development activities.
• Proficient user in Microsoft Office : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
