WSP in Canada is seeking a skilled engineering professional to lead materials engineering consultancy across various infrastructure projects in British Columbia. You will leverage over 10 years of experience to drive technical excellence in concrete, aggregates, and durability assessments while mentoring junior engineers.
The role also involves significant business development responsibilities to expand client engagement. Compensation ranges from $134,600 to $195,400 based on location and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Materials Engineering is required, with advanced degrees considered an asset.
You’ll be at the center of our growing Materials Engineering practice, shaping WSP’s presence across British Columbia, Canada, and globally. Bringing deep technical expertise in concrete and construction materials, you’ll also act as a trusted advisor to clients, industry partners, and internal teams. This role blends high‑impact project delivery, business development leadership, and mentoring, giving you influence over both the growth of our Vancouver practice and the development of the next generation of materials engineers. Working closely with the Materials Engineering Manager, you’ll help set strategic priorities, expand our client base, and contribute to some of BC’s most meaningful infrastructure projects.
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 – $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
