Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• Membership of a professional institution.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
• Proficiency in the English language and ability to write detailed technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Working as a member of the Global Electrical & Control Discipline team, carrying out design appraisal and consultancy against Class Rules and Statutory Codes for marine electrical/automation/electronic systems.
• Conducting approval of electrical and control equipment and components against statutory codes and class rules; perform Type Approval activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide specialist technical advice to internal and external clients globally at a senior level.
