As part of Range Travel Group — a global travel platform operating a portfolio of leading businesses across luxury travel, technology, and agency networks — Kensington is entering a pivotal phase of growth. We are building a high-caliber strategy function to accelerate the business, sharpen our competitive positioning, and scale the brand.

Reporting to the VP, Strategy, the Senior Manager, Strategy will be a core member of a lean, high-impact team driving strategic priorities across Kensington Tours and the broader Range Travel portfolio. This is a generalist strategy role, and requires rigorous analysis, structured problem-solving, and executive communication. You will support strategic projects from framing through to recommendation, support enterprise-level planning, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders across the business.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Projects

  • Support end-to-end strategy engagements, from problem definition and hypothesis development through to analysis, synthesis, and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Structure ambiguous, complex business problems into clear analytical frameworks and workplans.
  • Build financial models and conduct quantitative analysis to diagnose business issues, size market opportunities, and assess the costs, benefits, and trade-offs of strategic options.
  • Synthesize complex, often conflicting information into crisp narratives and compelling recommendations tailored for executive and Board-level audiences.
  • Drive projects through to implementation, maintaining accountability for outcomes.

Strategic Planning, Performance Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Support the annual strategic planning process at the business unit and portfolio level.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, market sizing, and industry research; translate findings into clear implications and recommendations for the business.
  • Monitor trends across the luxury travel landscape and surface insights that sharpen Kensington’s strategic positioning.
  • Support the preparation of materials for leadership offsites, Board presentations, and strategic reviews.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, scorecards, and reporting frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 2+ years post-MBA or 5+ years post-undergraduate experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading structured problem-solving engagements and delivering high-quality recommendations under ambiguity and time pressure.
  • Experience working directly with and presenting to leadership; comfortable in the room and credible in the conversation.

Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executive storytelling in PowerPoint; ability to translate complex analysis into a compelling, decision-ready narrative.
  • Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills; advanced proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Structured, hypothesis-driven thinker who can break down large, messy problems into manageable components.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Graduate business degree (MBA) strongly preferred.

What’s In It For You

  • A high-visibility, high-impact role with direct exposure to leadership and enterprise-level decision-making across a global travel platform.
  • A collaborative, intellectually curious team that values substance, rigour, and low-ego problem-solving.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.

We provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance. The expected compensation range for this position is: $115,000 to $135,000.

The actual compensation may vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
