CAE is seeking an experienced leader to establish and lead the Safety & Quality Intelligence capability in support of decision-making, risk management, and regulatory confidence. The role will consolidate analytics across CAE and drive enterprise metrics and reporting standards.

The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with deep analytics expertise and will influence senior executives while building scalable processes and capabilities for the future Global Safety & Quality Intelligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in analytics, data governance, intelligence, quality management, safety management, compliance monitoring, or continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience leading analytics, reporting, or intelligence initiatives across multiple business units or operational environments.
• Proven experience establishing and managing KPI frameworks, reporting standards, metrics, taxonomies, and dashboard structures.

The role can be located in Montreal, Canada, or in any relevant location within Europe.

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking leader to establish and lead CAE's Safety & Quality Intelligence capability. This role will transform fragmented Safety and Quality data into actionable intelligence that supports decision-making, risk management, operational excellence, and regulatory confidence.

Working across Operations and the Civil and Defense & Security business units, the successful candidate will lead the consolidation and standardization of Safety and Quality analytics, establish enterprise-wide metrics and reporting frameworks, and help shape the future Global Safety & Quality Intelligence Platform.

The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with strong analytical expertise and is comfortable engaging with senior executives while building foundational processes and capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to influence how CAE leverages analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to strengthen governance, improve performance, and foster a proactive, data-driven Safety & Quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation and standardization of Safety & Quality analytics across CAE.
• Establish and govern a robust Safety & Quality data framework to improve consistency, reliability, and decision-making.
• Define enterprise-wide metrics, KPIs, reporting standards, and data taxonomies.
• Develop executive dashboards, risk intelligence, and performance insights to support global Safety & Quality governance.
• Partner with the Safety & Quality Systems Governance function to develop the Global Safety & Quality Intelligence Platform, ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives.
• Define requirements for predictive analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities within the platform.
• Lead and develop a team of analytics and intelligence professionals.
• Collaborate with leaders across Global Safety, Global Operational Governance, Operations, Manufacturing, and the Civil and Defense & Security business units.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Quality Management, Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in analytics, data governance, intelligence, quality management, safety management, compliance monitoring, or continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience leading analytics, reporting, or intelligence initiatives across multiple business units or operational environments.
• Proven experience establishing and managing KPI frameworks, reporting standards, metrics, taxonomies, and dashboard structures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices.
• Experience working within regulated environments, preferably in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, safety, quality, or compliance-related functions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead change in a global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional teams.
• Professional certifications in analytics, data management, quality, safety, auditing, project management, AI, or business intelligence.
• Experience standardizing analytics across multiple systems, business units, or geographic regions.
• Knowledge of aviation safety, quality assurance, compliance monitoring, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), and regulatory oversight frameworks.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives involving systems consolidation, governance modernization, or organizational change.
• Working knowledge of predictive analytics, machine learning, AI-enabled decision support, anomaly detection, model governance, and AI engineering methodologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise digital tools and technology platforms.
• Experience delivering executive-level analytics, performance insights, and governance reporting.
• Experience defining business requirements and partnering with Digital, IT, and governance teams to develop technology solutions.
• Passion for building data-driven cultures that enhance safety, quality operational performance, regulatory confidence, and business outcomes.
