A leading provider of first-party data is seeking a Senior Manager, Research to lead a team and drive business development. The role involves managing research projects, delivering insights, and collaborating with sales and product teams. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in market research and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Management of a medium-sized team: Managing 2-5 direct reports, supporting the execution of client deliverables, and team development.
Business development and account leadership: Partnering with sales to increase client acquisition and retention, acting as the primary research partner, participating in client meetings, assisting in project positioning and proposals, and presenting final deliverables.
Delivery of insights: Overseeing teams in designing, managing, analyzing, and delivering research insights, including visualization through dashboards, crosstabulations, and presentations.
Liaison between sales, product, and operations: Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure excellent delivery and service, reviewing research objectives, and managing project deliverables.
Product development: Supporting the refinement, testing, and execution of the company’s product strategy and innovation initiatives.
Skills
Advanced analysis and report writing skills focused on delivering insights and actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm for learning.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining excellent client service.
Quick learner of new technologies (e.g., web, multimedia, multi-device).
Experience
Minimum of 12 years in market research, with client-facing responsibilities and research direction.
Strong background in quantitative research methodologies, data analysis, report writing, and presentations.
Understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem (Ad Solutions only).
