Purpose
Contribute to the success of the Corporate Functions (CF) Compliance Program by managing ongoing compliance activities and strategies, ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Support the development and oversight of the eight pillars of the CF Compliance Program, including establishing and maintaining policies aligned with Global Compliance standards.
- Ensure ongoing effectiveness of compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist the Director of Corporate Function Compliance in managing compliance programs consistently.
- Maintain awareness of risks and controls related to regulatory obligations.
- Monitor interactions with CFs, including meetings and reporting review.
- Oversee regulatory compliance reporting in collaboration with Enterprise Compliance and Business Line Compliance teams.
- Provide advice on implementing the RCM Program and responsibilities under the GC-CF Oversight Model.
- Support the deployment and sustainment of the Corporate Functions Compliance Program.
- Manage relationships with CF and contribute to a coordinated compliance effort across the bank.
- Participate in activities and initiatives of CF Compliance as needed.
- Represent CF Compliance in discussions regarding changes/enhancements with global stakeholders.
- Consider the bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
- Ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with risk management frameworks, including conduct, privacy, and operational risks.
- Promote a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships.
- Maintain high performance and an inclusive work environment.
Education/Experience
- Post-secondary education, preferably in risk management, IT, or audit.
- At least 7 years of experience in risk management, IT, or cybersecurity within a large, complex, global institution.
- Proven success in risk management, IT, or audit roles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop solutions for complex issues.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory and business environments.
- Strong project management, research, and analytical skills.
