We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Governance to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring excellence in governance practices. This role will drive engagement, manage compliance processes, and support leadership in decision-making

Position Overview:

The Manager, Stakeholder Relations and Governance will be responsible for managing the organization’s stakeholder engagement strategy as well as ensuring that our governance practices are best in class. This role will involve working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to manage relationships with key external stakeholders and to manage all Board and Committee meeting logistics, attending meetings and producing meeting minutes and briefing notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: In support of the Office of the CEO and the office of the Chief Scientific Officer, this role will develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate business partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Governance Oversight: Support the Board and Committees to ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices and regulations. Facilitate Board and Committee meetings, prepare materials, and ensure effective decision-making processes.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide senior leadership with actionable insights regarding stakeholder sentiment, potential risks, and emerging governance trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Governance, or related field
  • Experience in Stakeholder Relations, Governance, or Corporate Affairs
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and governance initiatives
  • High level strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Salary Range: $72,469 - $90,586
