This role contributes to the success of the Quality Assurance and Challenge Review program, ensuring major milestones related to the Risk Transformation program are executed in compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and sustainability goals.

The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance Risk Transformation Program, is responsible for ensuring that all QA activities and deliverables meet regulatory and internal standards, align with strategic goals, and prioritize sustainability.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Assist with executing and reporting on the QA Program for the Risk Transformation initiative, providing feedback to enhance risk management processes.
• Evaluate and finalize the rating/status of milestone closure packages, ensuring SLAs are met and sustainability is maintained.
• Manage relationships within Global Risk Management, overseeing audits, issue closures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Report QA review results to the Director, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
• Promote an environment aligned with Scotiabank’s values, ensuring effective controls to meet operational, compliance, and risk obligations.
• Support a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
