The Role
As the Senior Manager, Marketing and Loyalty Program, you will be a key leader in developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for Talize, Recycling Rewards and Sky Development Group. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful loyalty program, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through innovative and effective marketing initiatives to drive sales and increase customer lifetime value. Your role involves leading a dynamic marketing team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the achievement of the company's business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
Departmental Duties
- Work with Executive Leadership to create the vision and brand position of the Company in the Canadian Retail Market.
- Develop brand messaging and marketing materials that represent the Company’s market position.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define the Company’s target consumer.
- Use consumer research and business analysis to monitor market trends, understand competition, consumer segmentation and positioning, customer insights, competitor analysis, product segmentation and sales performance.
- Create reports for Executive Leadership on marketing performance and areas of improvement.
- Help manage the creative development timeline and process, manage brand budgets.
- Approve creative across all consumer touch-points.
- Create, and execute a consumer engagement plan.
- Identify local market opportunities with key customer target groups, and develop and execute programs to leverage these audiences.
- Lead cross-platform rebranding with aesthetic continuity, fresh content and increase video use.
- Determine directive pricing strategies, manage budget allocation, and assess ROI for every marketing effort.
- Lead staff in CRM activities and weekly reporting of sales analytics.
- Work with Management to establish and manage current and long-range objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), strategic plans and policies.
Loyalty Program:
- Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of an overarching brand loyalty strategy to increase customer engagement, boost retention, and maximize sales
- Brainstorm effective loyalty programs, promotional initiatives, and accompanying marketing collateral
- Perform in-depth target audience research and execute data-driven customer segmentation to ensure our loyalty programs are customized according to each audience segment
- Manage the established budget for promotional initiatives and lead the financial planning and reporting for your division
- Study campaign reports, forecasting metrics, and industry trends to measure the impact and efficiency of our marketing and advertising efforts
- Oversee the execution of all loyalty marketing plans by managing the project calendar and updating the overall promotional direction
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the successful sales execution
Quality
- Ensure a culture of quality assurance and active quality risk management.
- Ensure compliance with all specifications; actively influences in the determination of specifications.
Cost:
- In collaboration with operational partners, approves and tracks budgets- sets and monitors the plant production plans.
- In collaboration with Operations, sets targets and supports the implementation of programs.
- Implements a culture of continuous improvement.
- Harmonizes processes and performance indicators across categories.
Delivery:
- Optimize the use of resources (human, logistical, raw materials, and processes) in terms of availability and financial return.
- Ensure implementation of planning parameters and production reliability to deliver on-time.

Education, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on strategic planning and leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Experience in Retail Marketing is highly desirable.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of various marketing channels and tactics, including digital marketing, traditional advertising, and content marketing.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive marketing decisions and measure campaign performance.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Experience in brand development and management.
- Proven ability to drive customer acquisition and retention through effective marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and the ability to use data for decision-making.

- Strong understanding of compliance and ethical considerations in marketing.
