Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• 5+ years in external audit, internal audit, or technical accounting with SOX exposure.
• Strong internal controls and technical accounting under US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with complex financial and consolidation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders as SME on internal controls and SOX.
• Coordinate with global control owners to standardize SOX controls.
• Own execution of controls and address deficiencies.
• Recommend process and control design improvements and lead implementations.
• Support process owners and IT to keep process/documentation updated.
• Develop best practices across the organization.
• Support finance projects and initiatives to ensure organizational success.
• Flag concerns timely and communicate effectively.
• Maintain segregation of duties reviews and cleanups across systems.
• Review Service Organization Reports and develop compensating controls as needed.
• Present clear summaries of internal control environment to Steering Committees.
• Ensure user access reviews are thorough and timely.
