Job summary

Keel Infrastructure, a publicly traded energy and digital infrastructure company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Internal Controls to join the Finance team in Canada. You will help maintain Keel's SOX program, design and document controls, and partner with control owners across the business.

In this role, you will extend internal controls beyond SOX, support risk assessments, and coordinate with external auditors. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3+ years in internal controls, internal/external audits, or related field.
• Experience with COSO and SOX 404 frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Keel's SOX program and control documentation.
• Extend internal controls scope beyond SOX across the Finance function.
• Update risk registers, RCM entries, and process descriptions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify controls while maintaining risk coverage.
• Coordinate testing with external providers and support the audit process.
• Prepare internal reporting for management and the Board.
• Support AI tool adoption within the controls environment.
