Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, QC, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Integrated Material Flow (IMF) organization within the Customer Program Operations team. You will steer end-to-end material flow, from supply planning to delivery, while aligning internal partners to meet customer requirements and minimize risk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree with 10+ years’ experience or Master degree with 7+ years’ experience in Administration/Commerce, Aeronautics, Purchasing, Other related field, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven skills/experience in leading dynamic team.
  • Experience in business transformation and project management.
  • Business sense is a key competency in this role.
  • Occasional business trips. Knowledge in SAP, CRM, TRAC & PowerBI is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Integrated Material Flow leaders with clear priorities and accountability.
  • Own and optimize end-to-end material flow across the customer program, from supply planning to delivery.
  • Ensure partnerships with CSR, MRO shops, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics to maintain material availability.
  • Drive timely resolution of material and supply issues, identify root causes, and coordinate actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, inventory positioning, and replenishment.
  • Provide guidance and participate in customer meetings and site visits as IMF representative.
  • Lead IMF and customer-program performance reporting to governance and senior executives.
  • Establish IMF performance metrics and monitor operational health indicators.
  • Support financial deliverables and balance customer service with cost and efficiency.
  • Champion continuous improvement and standardization of IMF processes.

P&WC Customer Service Programs Team is currently looking for an Senior Manager to lead a professional team in charge of customer relations in our Customer program operations team. This role is key in building and maintaining customer relationships, driving solutions and representing the end customer and other external voices within the company.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil, and is exclusively on-site.

Function Description

The Senior Manager reports to the Associate Director, Customer Program Operations and provides strategic leadership for the Integrated Material Flow (IMF) organization and end-to-end material flow performance. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Integrated Material Flow leaders, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations to ensure effective execution of customer material requirements.
  • Own and optimize end-to-end material flow across the customer program, from supply planning and material availability through inventory management, logistics, shop requirements, and point-of-use delivery.
  • Ensure strong internal partnerships with Customer Service Representatives (CSR), MRO shops, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and other key stakeholders to maintain material availability and support operational priorities.
  • Drive timely, holistic resolution of material and supply issues, identifying root causes, assessing downstream impacts, and coordinating cross-functional actions to protect customer requirements and minimize disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve material flow, inventory positioning, replenishment, and overall supply performance, leveraging IMF principles, data, and continuous-improvement methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Provide guidance and, as appropriate, participate in customer meetings and site visits, serving as a senior IMF representative and ensuring alignment between customer requirements, operational capabilities, and material-flow strategies.
  • Lead the development, coordination, and presentation of IMF and customer-program performance reporting through internal governance, including key metrics, risks, recovery actions, trends, and opportunities, up to the senior executive level.
  • Establish and monitor IMF performance metrics and operational health indicators, using data-driven insights to identify emerging constraints, improve predictability, and drive sustained performance.
  • Support financial deliverables and business-performance objectives, developing strategies that balance customer service, inventory, material availability, operational efficiency, and cost.
  • Champion continuous improvement and standardization of IMF processes, promoting a proactive, integrated approach to material-flow management across the organization.
