Job summary

The Senior Manager, Operations and Innovation at The University of British Columbia (ATM) will provide strategic oversight for administration, operations, innovation strategy, and ecosystem development. Working with the ATM Director, you will lead HR, financial planning, policy development, and partnerships to advance translational medicine and commercialization efforts.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with faculty and external partners, and drive initiatives that strengthen the ATM’s role

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of five years of related experience.
Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own.
Demonstrates a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight and leadership for ATM administration, operations, innovation, and partnerships.
Oversee HR, financial planning, policy development, and governance within ATM.
Develop and implement innovation programs, ecosystem development, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Lead strategic initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Represent ATM in national and international innovation initiatives and partnerships.
