Job summary

Vancouver School Board is seeking a Senior Manager, Assistive Technology British Columbia (ATBC) to lead a multi-staff team, manage contracts and funding, and drive service delivery across ATBC programs. The role oversees operations, IT systems, financial management, and business development within the district.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree and at least ten years in education, with supervisory experience in a unionized environment, and a track record of strategic planning

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, education or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of ten years in public or post-secondary education settings
  • Minimum of two years in supervisory role in a unionized environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for ATBC team and supervise staff (exempt and CUPE).
  • Monitor service procedures, address deficits and develop program delivery.
  • Negotiate and secure program funding from MPFS and manage budget practices.
  • Oversee program quality, client satisfaction and compliance with contracts.
  • Develop marketing strategies and revenue targets for fee-for-service programs.
  • Lead IT and data systems for client records, inventory and reporting.
  • Prepare annual reports, budgets and procurement plans.
