Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Supplier Management, Corporate Real Estate to lead the ongoing management of CRE’s Service Partners globally by bank Supplier Management & Governance Framework, ensuring compliance with bank policies and third-party regulations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Supplier and Contract Management, will backfill a maternity leave position and lead the management of Corporate Real Estate’s outsourced Service Partners on a global basis. The role focuses on operational effectiveness, quality service delivery, risk management, and compliance with bank policies and third-party regulations, aligned with the Bank’s Supplier Management Framework.

What will you do?

• Manage contract deliverables, ensure timely reporting, KPI adherence, content validation, and conduct periodic audits.
• Serve as CRE Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Supplier Management, providing leadership and training to CRE Regional Service Area Leads and Service Partners on their roles and responsibilities.
• Lead resolution of all supplier-related audit or operational risk issues with the appropriate CRE team member or supplier.
• Partner with CoEs and Regional Leads to implement Project Summit and maintain productive relationships and ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities through industry and supplier reviews and analysis.
• Assist CRE Service Lines with issues and escalations related to Service Partner performance.

Must-Have Skills:

• At least 7 years of experience in Corporate Real Estate, Supplier Management, and/or Contract Management.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong Relationship Management skills.
• Superior Negotiation and Influencing skills.
• Proficiency in writing and reviewing contracts.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and financial acumen.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with regulations such as OSFI, CCA, and other legislative requirements related to CRE and Suppliers.
• Paralegal experience.
• Experience in risk identification and mitigation.
• Experience in the Financial Industry.
