We are representing a retail organisation with a global supply chain.

As the Senior Global Sourcing Manager, you will lead a team of eight direct reports and play a critical role in driving the company’s global sourcing strategy. A key requirement for this position is extensive retail purchasing experience, particularly working with suppliers across Asia—including China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Turkey. Your core responsibilities will include developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring the timely, cost-effective delivery of high-quality finished goods. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance to streamline operations and enhance supply chain efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee the movement of goods through two U.S.-based distribution centers.

The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of global sourcing experience, including vendor management, factory audits, and regular travel to Asia to ensure the successful execution of sourcing strategies. A background in sourcing hard goods for retail clients is essential, with a strong emphasis on finished goods rather than raw materials, as the company does not manufacture its own products. Experience within a retail organization is therefore crucial. This role demands a leader who is analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. As someone who leads by example, you must be able to inspire and motivate your team to consistently deliver their best. Quarterly travel to both Asia and the U.S. is required, so appropriate travel eligibility is essential.
