Job description

At Range Group we believe in the power of the professional travel advisor. We represent over $4.5 billion in annual travel sales. All our investments stem from a common thesis, that travel advisors add real value to a trip. Travel advisors when equipped with technology and 24/7 support are irreplaceable. Equally important is our philanthropy. Range Foundation channels 10% of group profits to social impact. From exploration grants, improved access to education, new discoveries on sea and land, cultural infrastructure, and helping our global neighbors in times of need — we are investing to build a better future.

About Ranges Foundation

Range Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Range, a $4.5 billion collection of luxury leisure travel companies building a stronger, more profitable, more purposeful travel industry. At Range Foundation, we engage with employees, travel advisors, members, travel partners, and clients of Range companies to build a better future by protecting the planet and uplifting its citizens. We steward charitable and community partnerships across three pillars: Community & Culture, Exploration & Conservation, and Poverty Alleviation.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Fundraising, is responsible for building and executing a fundraising strategy across all Range companies, with Kensington Tours & Ensemble serving as the primary vehicles. The ideal candidate brings diverse development expertise to be the architect behind a full spectrum of philanthropic engagement: integrating giving opportunities into the client experience, developing and delivering a portfolio of distributed in-person and virtual fundraising events, driving corporate partnerships with travel and trade partners, and stewarding major gifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the One + One initiative - activating clients to match Kensington's 1%-of-sales commitment, scaling the program from $175K toward $1M annually
  • Partner with Sales & L&D to design and embed fundraising touchpoints across the full client lifecycle, from before the initial inquiry through to post-trip stewardship
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and L&D to develop scripting and training toolkits enabling sales staff (i.e., Destination Experts) to introduce giving naturally and compellingly
  • Partner with Technology on booking platform features & integrations into proprietary systems and HubSpot to make giving seamless
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, digital content, and impact storytelling to deepen client engagement and connect clients' travel to the Foundation's work
  • Track and optimize conversion and donation metrics by journey stage, channel, and region
  • Build and deliver a distributed event strategy, including in-person and virtual, that reflects Kensington's brand to reach HNW clients globally across key markets
  • Identify and cultivate high-value donor prospects within the existing client base, supporting the broader Social Impact team on major gift conversations where appropriate
  • Manage end-to-end event delivery: venue/platform sourcing, programming, guest experience, budgeting, and post-event donor stewardship. This includes working with Finance, Legal & Foundation teams to ensure donation processing and charitable receipting are seamless
  • Support Ensemble's annual fundraising campaign with strategy and engagement programming for travel agency 1 members and travel partners
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to identify, develop, and steward corporate giving relationships with travel and trade partners to co-fund, co-host, and co-promote initiatives aligned with Range Foundation's core pillars
  • Develop partnership proposals highlighting impact reporting to showcase the business & reputational value of philanthropy
  • Ensure all messaging meets IRS & CRA charitable communication standards and reflects the Foundation's governance and fund flow
  • Develop an annual fundraising plan including revenue targets, initiative roadmap, budget, and KPIs across fundraising streams with the eventual goal of meeting a 1% of sales target, growing the One + One program from $175K to $1M annually
  • Build business cases that connect philanthropic engagement to client retention, NPS, and brand equity
  • Monthly reporting to senior leadership on fundraising activities, performance, and donor engagement
What You Bring
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in progressive fundraising, philanthropic engagement, and developing corporate partnerships
  • A proven track record of successfully exceeding revenue targets, executing fundraising strategies across various streams within a complex organizational environment
  • Experience designing in-person and virtual events roadmaps, successfully delivering an engaging audience experience, resulting in post-event giving and stewardship
  • Strong cross-functional experience working with various internal stakeholders within Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and L&D. Demonstrated ability to build or embed fundraising programs within a commercial or customer-facing environment
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills to deliver stakeholder presentations and craft compelling donor/client-facing copy, to translate social impact objectives into commercially compelling proposals
  • The following are considered assets:
    • Familiarity with IRS and CRA charitable receipting requirements
    • Experience in luxury travel, hospitality, or a similarly premium consumer brand
    • Background in corporate partnerships, cause-related marketing, or CSR within a for-profit environment
Who You Are
  • Mission-driven: genuine passion for conservation, community development, and purpose-led business
  • Commercially minded: you understand that fundraising success is inseparable from the client experience and brand loyalty, and you are comfortable building business cases and reporting against revenue targets
  • Self-starter: thrives with autonomy and is energized by building from the ground up
  • Relationship-first: you build trust naturally with high-net-worth clients, internal stakeholders, external partners, and NGO partners alike
  • Analytically oriented: you track what matters, learn from data, and communicate progress clearly
