Our client, in the real estate / asset management industry is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance to join them on a 3-month contract. The role will be working onsite 5 days at their office Downtown Toronto.

As the Senior Manager, Finance, you will oversee the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. You will lead the year-end close processes and tax filing, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Additional responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements in financial operations.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights for leadership.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in the real estate asset management industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, budgeting, and revenue management.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP software, Yardi.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
