Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Equities Global Knowledge Center (GKC) within the Global Investment Solutions (GIS) group and the office of the Global Wealth Management Chief Investment Officer by ensuring specific individual goals are accomplished in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities comply with governing regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Member of a global team responsible for equities recommendations and the performance of the GIS equity Guided Portfolios (GPs). The team’s mandate spans Canadian, U.S., and international stocks. The incumbent will contribute to equity team’s sector and regional allocation decisions and is responsible for providing timely and holistic equity investment advice to Scotia Global Wealth Management relationship managers
